Purpose for Inspection
The purpose of a home inspection is to provide the client with information regarding the condition of the systems and components of the home as they exist at the time of the inspection. They are one of the most important pre-closing contingencies in the contract. The Home Inspection Report communicates the information to the client through a written summary that describes the general conditions of the building systems and components along with items deemed significantly deficient. Scope Inspect all the major systems and components of your prospective home, both inside and out. Upon completion of the inspection, The information will be compiled in an easy-to-understand comprehensive report that includes descriptive narratives, checklists, and high quality digital photos that provide visual details for the issues discovered. It is best for you to be present during the inspection or at the very least before the inspection is finished. This will give the inspector an opportunity to give you a summary of the findings. Your finalized report will be emailed to you within 24 hours. As a home inspector trained and licensed by the International Association of Licensed Home Inspectors (InterNACHI®), we adhere to their comprehensive Residential Standards of Practice. |
Meet your Home Inspector
Hello, my name is Rob Ferguson, I am a Certified Professional Inspector®. Unlike most professionals you hire, you probably won't meet me until our appointment. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and pricing. Ultimately, a thorough home inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. My job is to protect YOU, which is why I feel my qualifications are what you are looking for, If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that you'll get my very best effort. During my years as a firefighter I had a side business, like many firefighters do, I did construction, remodels, and built a few custom homes, including my own. After I retired (12 yrs ago) I decided to take all my experience doing inspections from the fire service, building homes, along with the motto of "saving lives and protecting property" and apply that to our home inspection business by protecting you from purchasing a home with unwanted defects or safety hazards. I was born and raised right here in Florida, moved to Colorado where, after many years, I met my wife and brought her back to Florida with me. We love the Florida life and look forward to taking part in the purchase of your new home. Please feel free to contact us for anything we may be of assistance with. Our services are available for Spring Hill, Hernando County, Pasco County, and surrounding areas. Florida Licensed Home Inspector #HI11509 |
